Creating a better world! Is the Mission that the Scout Movement works around the planet, from our foundation in 1907.
We, Grupo Scout 217 Matterhorn, are taking part in a Training Course about Social Media in Nelijarve, Estonia.
In behalf of our entire group, Dani and Bobby are learning more about the impact that new technologies and social media generate in the young people with we work continuously our Educative Method.
The Training Course is being developed between dates from 16 to 24 of April and we are sharing and working with people from Georgia, Armenia, Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Israel, Bulgaria, Hungary and Lithuania.
During these days, in addition to learning experiences from other people about the new technologies and Social Media, we are inside an intercultural climate, unifying opinions and common positions about Non-Formal Education with young people.
The project is being taking place in a Forest Reservation, in the north part of Estonia. The place is located between frozen lakes and is surrounded by a wonderful pine forest, in which the bears are waking up right now, after hibernation.
The place doesn’t could be more beautiful! and we are really pleased to have this experience in which we are meeting interesting people who work like us and who we share the same methodologies, goals, points of view and motivations.
Tomorrow, as the group is camping, we will go to Tallinn, capital of this amazing country, and then, we will keep reporting later about our most recent adventures here.
Right now, we're about to start Intercultural Night of Armenia and Georgia and we are convinced that we will be very pleasantly surprised.
