La ONU declaró el Año 2010 como el Año Internacional de la Biodiversidad (IYB)
Join us in celebrating 2010 – the International Year of Biodiversity, declared by the United Nations. Throughout the year we will be celebrating biological diversity – the variety of life on Earth – and boosting awareness of how important it is for our lives. Most people appreciate the beauty of the natural world, but awareness of biodiversity, how seriously it is threatened, and the implications for human wellbeing, is alarmingly low.
La biodiversidad es la variedad de toda forma de vida y procesos naturales sobre la tierra. El Convenio sobre la Diversidad Biológica (CDB) la define como la variabilidad entre organismos vivos, incluida la diversidad genética, de especies y ecosistemas.

BUENOS AIRES. El sábado 28 de agosto el Grupo Scout Benito Meana, nuestros HERMANOS de la MEANA, celebran el 92 aniversario de su más que fructífera andadura scout, la cual hemos compartido desde hace casi ya ocho años.
Nos esperan en el sótano de la Calle Junín 1445 de su ciudad,Buenos Aires, desde las 17 hs, para festejar juntos sus 92 años de la Meana.
